The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

As part of a month-long installation(November 2020) at StoreFrontLab, I presented a window into the luscious escapism and potentially transcendent nature of dreams and dreaming. Through the iconography of gold, clouds and endlessly shifting dream imagery, I transformed the act of sleep and dreaming into a tool for creating future narratives- allowing our cloudy, diffuse, subconscious wanderings to be a bridge to a potential future “Golden Age”. The unhindered visions of dream, alchemically transformed to gold. I presented the possibility of seeking solace in the cloudiness of ephemeral fantasies in a chaotic age. In Mayan cosmology, the creator took the form of a cloud, from whence they created the universe.
